When Maple Ridge’s leaves start turning, autumn is right around the corner. Check out these 5 must-see fall activities in Maple Ridge this autumn and renew your love for autumn.
- Go on a hike!
Maple Ridge is home to some of the best hikes in the lower mainland. Now that the weather has cooled down a bit its the perfect time to enjoy the sunshine and fresh autumn air.
2. Get Cultured at one of Maple Ridge’s Historical landmarks
Maple Ridge has a ton of history behind it. Check out one of the many historical parts Maple Ridge has to offer such as Haney House Museum, Port Haney Heritage Walk, and Historic Tile Mosaics.
3. Visit a local farm
Maple Ridge is home to many family farms. My favorites to visit are Meadows Family Farm and Deep Roots Family Farm.
4. Pumpkin Patch
One of my favourite fall activities is visiting the pumpkin patch every fall. A well known one located in Maple Ridge is Laity Pumpkin Patch. Be sure to get tons of pictures and pick up a pumpkin along the way!
5. Drive-in Movie
This one isn’t in Maple Ridge but I wanted to mention it because its such a fun date night or family night. The movies in the fall start earlier so you don’t need to worry about getting home super late. They have new movies each week and you don’t have to leave your car.
