My personal favourite areas and ones that I have seen are more family oriented are Silver Valley, Cottonwood and Albion. There are other communities in Maple Ridge that would be greta to start a family in but I have found the demographics in the areas I listed already have young family that are growing in townhouses and single family homes. The reason they are great to start your family in is because they are safe residential communities that will have children around for your future children to grow up with. These areas also have newer properties and are close to some of the top schools in Maple Ridge.
Communities like Cottonwood and Albion are great for those who commute you are close to the Haney bypass and Westcoast express. Areas like Silver Valley are great for those who like to be close to nature and the tri-cities like Port Coquitlam.
