Laity Pumpkin Patch

Open until Halloween Day!

The Laity Pumpkin Patch has something for everyone! Laity Pumpkin Patch has been apart of the Maple Ridge community for over 30 years. In addition to picking a pumpkin, they have many other attractions on the farm which will keep your family entertained for hours.

Harris Pumpkin Patch

Open until Halloween Day!

The Harris Pumpkin Patch has been serving the Maple Ridge community for over 30 years and the current mastermind of the patch Steve Harris works tirelessly to improve the crop year after year. The first week after Thanksgiving when they open up for families to come get their boots dirty and find the best pumpkin for them.

Haney Farmers Market

Every Saturday until October 29th from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM @ Memorial Peace Park

Shop local – direct from farmers, vendors and artisans on Saturdays in the welcoming atmosphere of this popular market right, in the heart of downtown Maple Ridge. Meet up with friends or family and enjoy the market’s weekly music, activities and food trucks.

Arbor Day

September 28, 2022, 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM @ Fletcher Park

Celebrate the end of BC National Forest Week for the Arbor Day celebration on September 28! The event features a variety of “tree” activities for families to enjoy, including games and opportunities to learn about tree health care. Enjoy a scenic view of the park and surrounding community with a bucket truck ride courtesy of BC Plant Health Care, or join the fun and help maintain the trees in the park.

We Stand With You Through Truth and Reconciliation

PLEA Community Services has put together this event in support with the local indigenous people, the Katzie First Nations, and local community partners to support and bring awareness to National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Culture Days – Apple Harvest

October 2, 2022, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Haney House Museum
Celebrate Culture Days and visit Haney House to enjoy all things apples to celebrate the harvest and Maple Ridge’s apple-growing history! Sample apple varieties from Haney House’s very own orchards, enjoy crafts, and maybe even win a prize. All ages. No registration required.

Culture Days – Art Adventures

October 8, 2022, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Memorial Peace Park
Join the Haney Artists in Residence and create outdoor artworks that that will explore colour, shape, pattern, and line with flowers. Participants of any age or ability will have the chance to playfully create while developing new ways of connecting with natural materials.

Culture Days – Labour and Memory Artist Workshop

October 8, 2022, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM @ The ACT Arts Centre
Learn all about Ukrainian artist Darlene Kalynka and her unique zig zag sketchbooks. View several of these artworks in the gallery and then try your hand at making your own. Come draw, paint and collage with a variety of materials in this fun workshop for all ages. Everyone is welcome!

Celebrate the Night

October 21, 2022, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Memorial Peace Park
The City of Maple Ridge is proud to present Celebrate the Night 2022, one of the community’s most beloved signature events, on Friday, October 21 in Memorial Peace Park from 6:00PM–8:00PM. This year’s celebration includes light displays, live theatre, roving performers, a photo booth and costume contest, all of which culminate to the fireworks finale at 8:00PM atop The ACT Arts Centre.

Trick and Treasure

Put on your costume and join the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association for their annual Halloween themed treasure hunt through the downtown core.
